But seriously, UCSB is literally ON THE BEACH. Half of the freshman doors have ocean views, overlooking the cruisy point break Campus Point. I spend almost every single morning of my freshman year catching waves at Campus Point before class. It was amazing. 

In addition to Campus Point, UCSB is a 5 minute drive/ 10 minute bike ride from Devereaux “Devs”, another fun right hand point break, and the peaky beach break Sands over at Coal Oil Point Beach. UCSB is also only a 30 minute drive from Rincon, and several other epic Santa Barbara surf spots.

UCSB isn’t just a fantastic surf college either, it’s also one of the best public schools in the nation, and some of their specific degree programs like Economics and Engineering, are ranked very high
